IEEE European Test Symposium (ETS)
GENERAL INFORMATION
The IEEE European Test Symposium (ETS) is Europe’s premier forum dedicated to presenting and discussing scientific results, emerging ideas, applications, hot topics and new trends in the area of electronic-based circuits and system testing. In 2016, ETS will take place in Movenpick hotel, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It is organized by the Delft University of Technology, which co-sponsors the event jointly with the IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA). ETS also features a special track on Emerging Test Strategies (ETS2), where new problems and ideas can be discussed in an informal atmosphere. ETS is the major event of the European Test Week that includes TSS (Test Spring School), and fringe workshops.
Amsterdam is the capital city and most populous city of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Amsterdam's name derives from Amstelredamme, indicative of the city's origin as a dam of the river Amstel. Amsterdam is a unique city in the world in many aspects:
- An exceptional (water) canal system with more than one hundred kilometres in total, and 1,500 bridges.
- It is the location of The Amsterdam Stock Exchange, the oldest stock exchange in the world!
- Amsterdam has hundreds of attractions, including its historic canals, many famous museums (Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum, etc), its red-light district, and its many cannabis coffee shops draw more than 5 million international visitors annually!!
- Amsterdam was ranked the second best city in which to live by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) in 2012, and 12th globally on quality of living for environment and infrastructure by Merce.

You are invited to submit your contributions and participate to ETS’16. We are confident that you will find ETS'16 productive, rewarding, instructive, exiting, and enjoyable!
SUBMISSIONS
ETS'16 seeks original, unpublished contributions of the following types:
- Scientific papers for the Formal Proceedings, presenting novel and complete research work
- Special Sessions, panels, and embedded tutorials
- Contributions for the special track on Emerging Test Strategies (ETS2)
- Vendor and Table-Top Demos presentations focusing on new features of test related products
- Fringe workshops, to be held on May 26 and 27
- Fringe meetings, to be held during the European Test Week
Publications
ETS'16 will produce electronic formal proceedings - with ISBN number, and to be indexed in the IEEE Xplore digital library and other bibliographical search engines. The formal proceedings will include:
- regular papers accepted as oral presentation (6 pages)
- regular papers accepted as posters (2 pages)
- papers for special sessions and embedded tutorials (up to 10 pages)
- short abstract for panels (1 page)
Moreover, ETS’16 will produce an informal digest of papers, which will be available only to symposium attendees. The informal digest of papers will include material provided by vendor presenters (white papers, short papers, presentations).
